If You Hate Christianity...

Okay, let me explain.

A lot of people I've seen ranting about the horrors of the Bible and Christianity as a whole, and then they go and quote the Old Testament. (A man laying with a man shall be put to death, a woman sleeping with a man while she is engaged will be stoned, etc.) while comepletely ignoring the one that actually matters most, The New Testament.

The thing is, Jesus IS the New Testament, or New Contract. He ended many of those practices (For example, several men brought to Him a young woman who was guilty of laying with another man while she was engaged, and, to test him, they asked is she should be stoned. He responded "Let the one of you without sin throw the first stone." And they all departed. A while later, He asked the woman, who was still sitting next to Him, "Have they all left?" and she replied "Yes." And He said "Have none stoned you?" And she said "No." And Jesus said "Then go, and do not sin again.") This was Jesus' way of ending the practice of stoning young women for that reason. Granted, they were still looked down on, but cheaters ought to be frowned upon, I think. So, basically, that means that whole argument of why Christianity sucks is null, because it doesn't actually exist anymore. Most Christians I know listen to the New Testament than the old one. I'm not saying ALL do, but considering I've been called a homophobic, ignorant, bitchy, skank, and a ton of not-so-nice things by atheists for DARING to be Christian, I personally don't think that it's fair for atheist to assume their side doesn't have any cazies, just like mine does.

If you wanna show me how Christianity is terrible, take a quote or two from the NEW Testament, because I assure I'll probably care more, and be more convinced of your argument, if you do.
